WIn10 Thunderbird not responding upon startup - HELP!

op_cris

Right after launch Thunderbird get stuck and displays "Not Responding" forever. I am not able to access my e-mails! Happened already - and suddenly, after some work on the same day - on two different computers, both running Win10 x64 with the latest version of T'bird. (Can it be related to a Win10 update??) Tried everything found on forums: - restarted Win in safe mode and Tbird in safe mode - disabled add-ons and reset all toolbars - manually added all the Tbird executables to the firewall (Win defender security only - which worked perfect until this happened) - temporarily disabled the firewall - created a different startup profile - modified start profile in .ini - reinstalled Thunderbird from scratch I mention the mailbox for the profile is not that large (less than 1 GB) NOTHING WORKED - please help, it's crazy! (and for other forum fellows, please, do not repeat what I've already did and mentioned above - doesn't worked!) Thank you! Regards, C.

SOLVED (hopefully): installed Thunderbird beta (60.0b6) and is back again. I hope it lasts, however the latest stable version didn't worked... :/
