It is difficult to feel like answering someone that starts a discussion by swearing. If you had used the typing time to explain what you problem is I would answer you. But I have no idea what can't find a click to tagged messages ? means. I can guess. But as you appear to already be in a mood to swear I will not do that. You elucidate your problem, them perhaps we can assist you in solving it.

Just to be very clear. Everyone you encounter in Mozilla support is a volunteers user of the product. Not an employee of Mozilla or anyone contracted to supply support. So get used to replies appearing when someone has time and loose the attitude, you are asking someone to take their time and give it to you. Swearing at them is not usually a good way to get cooperation.

Having found you post of 30 minutes ago I now have a vague idea what you are asking.

Right click the toolbar, select customize and add the View drop down box to your toolbar

Alternatively you can use the application menu (That is the three bar icon on the main toolbar) select view > Messages > tags and select the tag you want.

Or you could turn on the main menu bar across the top of the window (F10 will make it visible, right clicking the toolbar and selecting menu bar will make it permanent) and select View menu > messages > tags.

Perhaps this will help.http://write.flossmanuals.net/thunderbird/about-thunderbird/

Unless you truly want to drive yourself and everyone else crazy, I suggest you ask your questions as a batch. lots of posts will only confuse everyone concerned.

Thanks for your effort to answer! apology my swearing message, it was intended to Mozilla support service, now i understand they don't have one! hope you understand my disappointment of not having any support except volunteers like yourself is not right! Back to my problem: i am using mac and non of your explanation bellow is not solving my issue: Tag bar is just right on top, i do tag messages in order to be easy to find them, but there is no menu to find them easily all in one place at least. 2- New messages when i read them usually should mark as read, in thunderbird i have to click them to mark as read. 3- Thunderbird are not saving messages except last 50 messages, i have no idea how to make it to save all messages like Microsoft outlook does. i have many more issues therefore i am trying to get Mozilla support which doesn't exist, if i don't find an answer to my basic questions might have a second thought of this application which is to delete it forever!

Sound like I need to know just how you have this set up. There is no "tag bar" in the default setup.

That said, the details I provided about the application menu work exactly the same on OSX as they do on Windows. Same for customizing the toolsbar. Except those that have those ancient mac affectation the one button mouse. They have to command click not right click. The main menu bar is of course always visible on OSX, but that does not remove the view menu So your assertions that everything I advised you does not work leaves me without answers.

In account settings, what retention settings have you used? I have about 10 years worth of email in Thunderbird. So it can only be the way you have it configured that would leave you with mail that disappear or limits on how many display.
