Hi Deepali12, Thunderbird implements the IMAP and SMTP standards, so it can work with Office365 through those protocols if your administrator has allowed them. However, Thunderbird does not include support for Microsoft's proprietary ActiveSync or EWS technologies. You would need an add-on to enable Thunderbird to connect to Office365 using either of those protocols.

I have configured an Office 365 account on Thunderbird with IMAP settings. However, when i am creating a new folder on OWA(Office 365 ),it;s not getting replicated on Thundebird. But if i create a folder on thunder bird it's replicating on OWA(Office 365).. So the sync is one way or i am missing out something here

I haven't configured IMAP in Thunderbird for a long time, but there is a dialog where you choose what folders to sync. You might need to revisit that dialog when you add folders on the server side. Please see the last section of this article where it refers to the Advanced button: IMAP Synchronization.
