Dear Sir / Madam,

I want to switch from Outlook 2003 to Thunderbird. Not a problem in itself, but I want to import the local folders / personal folders from Outlook into the same structure in Thunderbird.

After visiting various websites I do not get well and wonder if there is an easy and fast way to get this done.

Like your tips.

Sincerely,

René de l 'Orme

Chosen solution

Thunderbird imports the content of the default PST file. That is all. So if you have others you will have to make then default so Thunderbird can import them. Is it a PITA. Yes, but that is what you get from using proprietary archive systems.

Install the current beta and try the import with it. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/channel/

Dear Matt,

Thank you for your support, but unfortunately this is not the solution. I already had this version of Thunderbird.

It concerns my local (personally created) folders with sub folders in outlook 2003. Here I keep my important mail.

With the import in Thunderbird I can not import it.

Perhaps there is another option.

René
