Actually, I don't think you can use EWS with Outlook.com any more, only ActiveSync. There might be a different add-on for that.

Microsoft told everyone when they re-did outlook that EAS was going away as well as IMAP. My current configuration is: https://outlook.office365.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx

This is an outlook.com address. I have 3 others that have the same configuration. I'm considering using Thunderbird as a client rather than emClient.

Did they? I have never seen such and they have never notified me of any changes of that nature on any of my accounts. Could you point me to a page?

Sorry, it was DeltaSync that was going away. They went to EAS which, I believe, is under EWS.

The Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync lets devices synchronize with your Inbox, your Calendar, and other items that have dedicated Microsoft Exchange Server mailboxes. We would not recommend you to use other third-party mail services. You can opt for Office Mail Client, Windows Mail app which comes inbuilt within the Windows 10 and Outlook.com web based interface.

Well, of course, they couldn't recommend a solution that involved you NOT buying Microsoft software. ;-)
