I can't access torproject.org from the new firefox ESP due to HSTS restrictions. I have tried the solutions given in this thread-https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/942924 with no success. If anyone has a different solution, mind sharing it?

Chosen solution

That comes from your ISP site that did that restrictions and there is no way around this beyond you talking to the ISP that is implementing that HSTS restrictions. That is where you need to go to. And if your Network managers are doing this then you also need to talk to them about this. We don't help you circumvent Network restrictions that is between you and the party doing the restrictions to resolve here now.

hi, i guess you shouldn't download tor over a compromised connection in the first place. what's the error code you get on that page when you click on advanced?

Hello, thank you for the reply, I managed to download tor on a more secure connection, the problem was with my campus censored network. The error code I got was SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER. But I do not have easy access to any other network that I can use if this error occurs again, do you know any method to bypass this situation.

There should be an "add an exception" button on that page, but I'm not sure you want to do that. Given that it worked on a different network, someone one your original network is actively trying to interfere in your connection, either because they're trying to block that site or because they're trying to change the file that's being downloaded. If they're blocking the site, it likely wouldn't work even if you did bypass the warning, and if they're modifying the file that you're trying to download, you probably don't want to use that file.

The problem is that there is no 'add exception' option while connecting to torproject.org, the site apparently only connects to secure networks.
