What happened to YouTube today? Through Firefox I am viewing an entirely different format. It will not save any searches, you have to use a cursor for everything. Says You are using "Desktop Version" What is this?

Hi

Yes, it does look like Google has changed the layout of that page very recently. I have tried it myself from the Firefox for Fire TV home page and it looks like it may have been reset to how it was previously, but I will contact the team that built the app and get this looked into further.

Whilst the page itself is outside of our control, we are continuing to optimise the Firefox for Fire TV viewing experience. In the meantime, if the option is presented to use the mobile page, or can be set that way in the YouTube settings, it should make the page easier to use.
