Please recommend an ADDON/Other Solution to display URL
This is about UPS and their tracking info. Here it is in a nutshell:
I used to be able to create a direct link for a UPS shipping label by appending the label's number at the end of a URL string I had saved and used as a "template": Copy the number; paste it at the end (right after the = sign); instant link.
But the UPS interface has changed. I can see the output just fine; what I can't see is the URL where my label inquiry is stored. Sort of like: (before) http://www.ups.com/a.string.of.alpha.num.here.ending.in.= (and the label) 1zetc.etc.
(now) http://www.ups.com/labelinquiry
In other words, I have to go through the whole 1) navigate to the UPS site, 2) paste the label number in the little box, 3) be sent to a window -- the one I want to DISPLAY -- with the shipping status.
Do this every day just to see where my package is while I anxiously await it? I DON'T THINK SO!
Help? Is there an Addon that can do this? UPS is hiding that output URL _somewhere_, how do I see it? Thanks!

You won't believe it! Bookmark it, it's a keeper. There is a site called
Shipment Tracking Direct URLs http://erchov.com/ShipmentTracking.asp
dedicated to this one issue. For anyone stumbling upon this support thread the "template" portion of URL for UPS is:
http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/track?track=yes&trackNums=
Just add your label data after the = sign. I'm so relieved to be not the only one with this nasty little issue. Build your link, and get right to it. It's a little miracle. :)

You can try to right-click the field where you enter that number to see if you can create a search (add keyword for this search).
Alas cor-el it doesn't work. And it was such a cool suggestion! I also tried using Stephan Mahieu's Form History Control but I just can't get past the root. :(

Note that you can make it a keyword (ups) bookmark by adding the %s parameter.
