I have imported my Chrome bookmarks, and wish to move/include them in my Firefox bookmarks.

This probably is covered by the above article, but when you call up the Library window using either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+b
  • "Show All Bookmarks"

You can see the three main "containers" in the left column -- Toolbar, Menu, Other -- and move bookmarks and folders between them using drag-and-drop or cut-and-paste.

The "Organize" menu has Undo in case something goes terribly wrong.

I guess it doesn't hurt to make a backup or an export, too!

When the user does an Import of bookmarks from another web browser those bookmarks are put in one folder with that browsers name. That is how Mozilla has that feature set up to work; they aren't interspersed with the existing bookmarks. To avoid that from happening, the user could Export their bookmarks in HTML format and then Import that file into Firefox, where they would be merged into the Bookmarks Menu folder with the existing bookmarks.

You can "sort" your bookmarks By Name or manually into whatever order that you want them to appear in Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/sort-bookmarks-quickly-find-ones-you-want
