I've always used Firefox on my Windows 8.1 OS PC, but since downloading Firefox Quantum, most Google News articles show a 404 error. Other browsers work...why?
I didn't have any problem opening Google News articles with my older versions of Firefox, but since Quantum downloaded, most articles show a 404 error screen when I click on them. I have resorted to switching to my Chrome browser just to read the news, as this is the only website I seem to be having problems with. I have cleaned my PC using CCleaner, but, that didn't help. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Restart Windows in Safe Mode with networking enabled and see if you can load them. If that works, most likely your security software does not recognize the new Firefox. Personally I would uninstall and reinstall that, and make sure it’s the latest version including all updates/definitions.
