I unpinned the icon from my task bar and expected it to reappear on my desktop. It did not. Now I can't start up Thunderbird.

I just figured it out. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\ Click on thunderbird.exe That will start up Thunderbird and put the icon back on the task bar. Now right click the icon and click pin to taskbar.
