I finally upgraded to the newest version and now Firefox is bricked. Completely unusable. Every site I go to I get "Your connection is not secure", I can't sign into "My Sync" for Firefox, it says "You must be connected to the Internet to sign in". I tried disabling the Proxy which I don't have, I set the proxy to auto and it did nothing.

All my other browsers work, all I did was upgrade to the new version of Firefox. I even completely uninstalled FF, downloaded the newest version and installed it and I have the same issues. NOTHING on my end changed. Any ideas? It has to be a setting somewhere, I just can't find it.

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
  • Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see
