How to print an email folder index as a list

In Thunderbird's main window a list of the contents of any email folder can be displayed. How could I print that list for use in, say, Excel? If I select any message or a list, "Print" will print the contents of the selected emails. So how can I print only the list of names and properties rather than the messages themselves?

Try the ImportExportTools add-on. It can create an index for a folder.
