I have a windows network folder that I can save attachments to when using thunderbird on Windows. However, on Linux Mint 18.2 that option is not available. The network drive seems to be mounted correctly as I can browse it on the file manager. Is there a way that, within Thunderbird, I am able to save to this network drive?

Usually where to save is set here: 'Edit' > 'Preferences' >'Attachments' > 'Incoming' tab Select: 'Save files to' select destination. or select to ask you each time. click on OK
