After re-installing Thunderbird, I've lost all my addresses - where can I find them and reinstate them
Thunderbird mysteriously vanished from my computer two days ago. I downloaded it and re-installed it, and all my emails are there (I have a web-based email provider, and I think that Tbird just downloaded them all from there. However, I've lost all my addresses; there's nothing at all in the address book. The online address book is incomplete, so i need to find my old addresses on my computer, and reinstall them on Tbird. I'm running this on Windows 7. Advice please, in simple steps if possible.
I have a related problem in that my calendar entries have vanished as well. I've tried reinstalling lightning, and also disabling and re-enabling it to no avail. I've been able to download an .ics file of my appointments from my Google calendar, but don't know what to do with it to get it to sync with my Lightning calendar. I tried to import it, but got this message:
"57 item(s) were ignored since they exist in both the destination calendar and C:\My Zip Files\**************@gmail.com.ical\Colin Gmail_************@gmail.com.ics".
Again help would be greatly appreciated.
