My inbox displays 12 emails, but the total emails on the bottom states 15. I have no filters engaged. Why the discrepancy?
My inbox displays 12 emails. No filters or tags are activated. The small box area at the bottom says that there are 15 emails. Help!!

right click the folder, select properties then the repair button. Better?

Are any of the missing messages hidden away in subfolders?
No subfolders. I removed all the messages and instead of 0, it shows 3.
