There's only one way to update Firefox for iOS. Open the iOS app store and search for Firefox and update.

Is that what you did?

If you still can't update to Firefox for iOS, please let us know what iPhone you are using, what version of iOS, what you did, what you expected and what happened! And what country you are in because the iOS app store can vary from country to country.

thanks for your response. I am sure that would work but I forgot that firefox updates automatically and just yesterday got notification that there was an update and I downloaded it.
