Would Firefox ESR continue supporting NPAPI plugins including Silverlight in 2018?

Posted

I've found 2 different timelines i.e. April 2018 & end of 2018 on this forum so want to confirm the correct timeline. Would you please let me know when ESR will stop supporting plugins like Silverlight. Thank you

The last Firefox 52 ESR update will likely be 52.8.0 esr out when Firefox 60.0 is Released next year on May 8, 2018. Unless Mozilla decides to extend this ESR branch.

Firefox 59 ESR will not allow other outside Plugins besides the NPAPI Flash Player.
