Error message; secure connection failed - SEC_ERROR_OCSP_FUTURE_RESPONSE so Firefox will not start - no problems until starting PC on return from holiday

Everything OK before going on holidays for 10 days during which time PC switched off altogether. On return, PC started normally but Firefox refuses to start with the above message about the "OCSP response being not valid due to a date in the future and the authenticity of the received data not being verified". Never seen this before so not sure whether it is my PC or external problem.

I think a moderator can move your question for you if we flag it.

But also, without trying to overgeneralize, this problem is caused by your computer's date/time being in the past. Can you check your Windows date, time, AND time zone settings carefully in case there was some kind of maladjustment recently?
