Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla before posting a question. This helps us help you. As I have no info from your system that would help see things that cause issues.

Firefox crash reason SIGSEGV . All info is over a year old and does not apply to this Firefox version.

Please try : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-troubleshoot-prevent-and-get-help and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes

Do not even have what browser version you are running.........

If above does not work consider uninstall and reinstall with a Full Version Installer for 56.0.2 https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Note : Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be disabled and or removed.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Verify that you meet the System Requirements (GTK+ and GLib) for the current Firefox release.

Also make sure you have the latest Pango version.

Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution.

You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (56.0.2) in all languages and all operating systems here:
