need setting for imap configuration for rediffmailpro.com account
Hi,
i have a email account provided by www.rediffmailpro.com on my company name. i would like to configure the same to Thunderbird. But unable to configure.
please help me so that i can get into Thunderbird.

incoming IMAP server: imap.rediffmailpro.com port: 143 Connection security (SSL): none Authentication: password, transmitted insecurely User name: full email address
outgoing SMTP server: smtp.rediffmailpro.com port: 587 Connection security (SSL): none Authentication: password, transmitted insecurely User name: full email address

Ask your provider for their server settings. They configure their servers and should know the settings. You want the following for both inbound and outbound. Server name. Ports Authentication Method Do they use SSL/TLS, STARTTLS or none Username format. Entire username or just the part before the @ sign.
