I would like to delete all but the newest email from specific senders (addresses). Is it possible in Thunderbird?

I regularly receive emails from a specific sender. I would like to only see the latest email from this sender and automatically delete the older ones. Outlook/Hotmail has this type of function under the "Sweep" feature (Always keep the latest message and delete the rest). If there is an "add-on" for T-bird that will accomplish this, could you let me know.

Thanks, Dave Cox
