Firefox Quantum - New tab gets focused no matter what setting
Hi! I'm using the latest Beta (quantum.)
Whenever i open a new tab with MMB, it automatically focuses it, even though i have that option turned off - http://prntscr.com/gqg0lo - Is there a way around it?
Cheers

In case the checkbox isn't in sync with the underlying preference, could you check:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste tabs and pause while the list is filtered
(3) If the browser.tabs.loadInBackground preference is bolded and "modified" or "user set" to false, double-click it to restore the default value of true (or you can use right-click > Reset)
(4) [Optional] If the browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick preference is bolded and "modified" or "user set" to false, double-click it to restore the default value of true (or you can use right-click > Reset)
(I don't have Beta, but I don't see a problem with the middle-click behavior in Nightly.)

For some reason it's working fine now. I believe I restarted the browser. I'll mark your answer as correct.
