Thunderbird filter out blank message field

This is suggested solution for closed out thread that address this issue, but don't offer easy solution that works on wide variety of messages. The approach that I'm using that seems to work lets messages pass that contain a vowel or a space in the subject field.

Test message field for ALL of these: 

     does not contain a space (use spacebar)

AND does not "a" AND does not "e" AND does not "i" AND does not "o" AND does not "u"

What about using: 'Subject' 'is' (leave text box empty)
