My New Message to create is maximized with no hide, resize, or close button

Tough week for me in TBird. Using 55.0b2 version. Most important is that my new message to compose is in a maximized window with no Hide-Resize-Close buttons on the top right. It is also aligned high and far left. Also I hit the Message drop down arrow and it doesn't ask New Message, it just asks without stationary and stationary choices below.

I re-installed the same version and problem solved.
