If you accidentally delete a task in Thunderbird 52.2.1, is it possible to recover it?

I was trying to delete a few completed activities from my task list, but after that I noticed that some were no longer present that I did not intend to delete. Is it possible to retrieve deleted tasks? Is there some kind of "trash" or "recycle" folder for these?

No. Not currently possible. But it is requested at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1337356
