After I've set a security exception, how do I remove it ?
My email provider was (still is) having authentication problems; as part of trying to find out how to get around them, I set a security exception when Thunderbird complained about the certificate being meant for another website. (I examined the situation, and it looked safe). So, I added an exception. Now I'd like to remove this exception, so how do I do this ? Thanks, Roger V.

Out of interest was the certificate for you anti virus company. Avast for one tries to have you add them as a certifying authority. It compromises the whole chain of trust, but it makes it cheap and easy for them.

Hi Matt, thanks for your response. The exception was for my internet provider iiNet (Australia) who's currently having problems with their authentication. Once I realised that this wasn't a work around, I thought I'd better put it back as it was. Thanks again, Roger V.
