if the message is already open in a tab, just put focus onto that tab, instead of opening another tab with the same message

Currently if I open a message, it opens in a new tab. Quite cool, I like it like that. If, for some reason I open the message again, it opens into another new tab. Then I have the same message in 2 tabs. Is there a way to allow Thunderbird to rather put focus onto the currently opened tab for the message I want to view instead of opening a new tab?

Thanks, I know that, but if you have many tabs open you cannot spot the one you're looking for. You could've forgotten that it's already open too. It would just make Thunderbird better if it could focus on the already open tab instead of opening a new tab, which is a duplicate of another tab. Currently outlook jumps to the open window instead of opening a duplicate. I almost think that Evolution mail does that as well.
