I want to edit the list of email account possibilities as sender when I start to send an email.
Hi Folks,
When I go to send an email and begin to type the account I want to send from, Thunderbird provides a list of accounts I could be sending from to make the account selection easier. Unfortunately, that list contains accounts I have not used in years. How can I edit the accounts list to remove unused past accounts.
Thanks,
Clay

All suggestions come from one of your address books. By default you have 2 books. The Personal and the Collected. Find the incorrect contact address and update or delete.

You need to restate your question. I do not know if it is your email accounts you are sending from or contacts in your address book you are sending to.
Thanks for your response. It is the email accounts I am sending to. When I click inside the "To" box and start entering text there is a drop down menu with alternatives of addresses to send to. That drop down list is what I would like to edit. Some of the addresses on it are years out of date.
