What is "home" calendar and how do I not use it by default?
The Thunderbird Lightning calendar is connected to my two gmail accounts. When some events did not show up on my Android devices, I realized that they are labeled as using the "Home" calendar in Lightning.
Since I did not knowingly choose to use the Home calendar, I am assuming that it was used by default. I would therefore like to understand how to prevent that from happening again. How can the Home calendar be excluded from use?
Thank you for any insights.
Chosen solution
There is an optional left hand pane in Lightning that lists your calendars. Right-click any of them and you will see options to synchronize or remove it. Like you, I found I had no use for "Home" since generally I want my events to appear in calendars available on other devices.
"Home" is the default and local calendar for users who don't want or need an online calendar.
