Hi again -

OK, so I want to change (edit) the search engine lineup in Thunderbird. Google is not present and I don't want some of the others.

How can I accomplish this?

TIA.

Chosen solution

I don't know an easy way to remove any of the search engines, but Google can be added via an add-on, and it is possible to add DuckDuckGo.

This worked well, thanks so much!

Next task is to remove some of the other search engines if anyone knows how for 52.2

Unlike with a browser, the other, non-default search providers don't appear anywhere else in TB, besides Tools/Options/General, so they can be safely ignored.

I think they are hard-coded into the program, as there are no traces in Config. editor.
