Your picture suggests that you have View/Message Body As set to something other than Original HTML, which would explain why you don't see remote images:

This was already checked when I read through and tried to correct. I did the uncheck. reboot. recheck, reboot.. routine but still no go. here is a cap of the client with your response. There is no "Privacy" bar....maybe you have additional suggestions.
