What does [Disarmed] indicate on incoming mail

After installing Thunderbird 45.0. some emails are being marked [Disarmed]. What is that supposed to indicate? Subject Disarmed can't be found in search of Thunderbird help contents.

Thunderbird does not mark anything Disarmed. Where are you seeing this?
