Dear Guys!

I have an annoying problem. My firefox (newest update) crashes on my Macbook Pro 2016 every time I start the Mac from its "Sleepy Mode" or if I did a restart. I can use Firefox without problems, if my Macbook is on (except if I want to write a message in Facebook, it crashes as well + sometimes the bar of Youtube is flickering, if I am watching a video). On no other websites or situations I had problems with crashes so far.

I am using this Mac now for 2 weeks and before that I had a windows, so I copied my "Profile", "Crash Report", "profiles.ini" and the "extensions" folder to the specific older from the windows to the Mac. Everything went fine (there was no problem -> e.g. I had all my rss feeds inside, etc.). I never had this problem/crashes with my windows (as it is the same "Profile" file now). I aleady checked the settings, deactivated the plugins and controlled the add-ons, if they are up-to-date. Everything should be fine.

Last but not least I checked Firefox with the "safe mode", but also in this situation, my Mac crashes...

I hope you can help me to fix the problem.

Please let me know, if you need any other information, which I can provide.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best,

hi, this is a bug in mac os x leading to a crash of firefox when the machine wakes from sleep. we are waiting for the general release of osx 10.12.3 to get this fixed. you may also follow along in bug 1320048 where we are tracking the issue.
