I think it may be a sync problem or I don't have email set up correctly. I'm using Mac mail, Thunderbird and Google mail. I have deleted all contacts in Mac address book. This helped for a short time but, now its back. I try to keep all apps up to date. Using iPnone SE, Mac OS 10.11.6 and Thunderbird 45.6.0

Thank You

mac mail and Thunderbird... same of different devices?

My guess.

Thunderbird is set to sync contacts to google. the iphone syncs contacts with Google and subsequently to icloud and then the mac mail or osx syncs the icloud contacts to the OSX address book.

We are always interested in hearing about "other problems" that way we have some new ideas occasionally.
