Hello wemahaffey,
I would like to get some extra information, I can't make something up with the information you're giving right now.
Please post a screenshot illustrating the problem. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-do-i-create-screenshot-my-problem
This is the screen displayed when I start Thunderbird. I cannot find any of the menus for adding an additional Account.
Press Alt or F10 to restore the menu bar. Then (or alternatively) File (Alt-F) > New > Mail Account https://support.mozilla.org/kb/automatic-account-configuration
Modified
I had no response when I tried Alt F10
Please explain in detail
- what you did
- what happened
- what you expected to happen
No response of any kind when Alt F10 was pressed.

Can I set up a Microsoft Exchange email account using Thunderbird?
Yes, you can, as long as the Exchange server supports the standard email protocols POP, IMAP, and SMTP.
