I was having insecure connection problems (all of a sudden and frequently), so I reinstalled Firefox (latest version). Since then, not only do I still have insecure connections everywhere, the graphic elements on many websites have completely vanished. Now they are text-only. I read in the community support some sort of explanation about malware, but I've checked my computer with Malware Anti-bytes and Super Antispyware and there is nothing there. So what can I do? BTW, I unfortunately have had to use Chrome, even to send this message, because it doesn't have a graphics issue.
