Adding multiple sender Email addresses?

For sending out Email messages, I have a few "sent by" addresses. I added these a while ago, but can't remember how to add additional addresses. If anyone has an idea, I would appreciate it. I tried to check through Mozilla support but didn't seem to find the right response.

Perhaps you want to select Tools/Account Settings/accountname/Manage Identities?

Hi Zenos, and thanks for the follow up. When I open up a new message to send in Thunderbird, at the very top ("From") is my name and Email address. When I click anywhere on the from box, there is a drop down menu with 7 other Email addresses that I added at an earlier date. These 7 addresses use other domain name that I own, so that I can quickly send a message from a different Email address. Obviously, I set these up at one time, and I need to add a few more. I simply forgot what I did to do this originally.

Right, that sounds like the "manage identities" item that sfhowes has suggested.
