imported outlook emails, where did they go?

I have used the older version of thunderbird to import my address book successfully. I was able to import my emails, but I don't know where they went, I don't see them in the inbox. I had tree of folders. I haven't updated to the latest thunderbird.

They will not be in your Inbox or the section for your e-mail account. They will be in folders in another section below, probably under Local Folders. Open the various folders you see that are not under your e-mail address.
