How to clear Local Storage on exit?

Even tough I checked "Offline website data" and "Site settings" to be cleared on exit, HTML5 Local Storage is not cleared.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Ensure all items are selected when choosing "Clear private data on exit"
  • Visit html5demos.com/storage and enter something into "localStorage"
  • Close Firefox ("Quit")
  • Reopen Firefox and visit html5demos.com/storage again -> localStorage shows data entered previously

This basically enables any third-party to track me even if i properly close Firefox.
