Your messages are meant to be under "Roaming etc". Why do you think this is a problem?

Why do you want to read wdseml files? They are generated to facilitate Windows Search accessing your mail store.

Time to time Thunderbird is deleting emails from my inbox, now I have only the emails from the 25th of May. The emails before that date I can find in "Roaming etc". But when I dubble click on them it won't open. Maybe I did something wrong in my settings :(. I really like to have my emails back!! Do you pls have any suggestions....

I would be more inclined to think your anti virus deleted your inbox on that date when it found a virus. I suggest you check the anti virus logs.

Where can I find the anti virus logs? How come I can not open the files in Roaming etc

Oh just open them in notepad and you will see what they contains. an aborted version of your mail prepared especially for windows stupid search.

As for the logs, I suggest you consult the documentation and support for your chosen anti virus product.

I can find all my emails in Roaming etc. But when I dubble click or crab them and transfer them into Thunderbird it won't do. Sure I can copy them into notebook but I would like to see for instance the invoice which is in the email to print out for my administration.

What name and format (extension) do the emails you found have? Where they separate files? You see unless you specifically set them to be single .eml -files in a maildir Thunderbird will use the standard mbox - file. That's one single file for all emails within a folder.

Please unfixate on the rubbish you "have found" it is not your mail and laboring the point is really exasperating

You talk about the "invoice the email contains". If it was an attachment it will not be in the file you have found. Because it is not your mail. it is a sort of, a bit like, text bit of rubbish that is extracted from your mail so windows search can find your mail. That is a clear as I can make it.,

Change the file extension to EML and open in Thunderbird... see no attachments. They are stripped for Windows search as it does not use them. All the files contain is the text representation of the email body.
