
My msn email account will not open, have lost pop3.live password.
When I go to Thunderbird all I get is a box telling me that pop3 has rejected my sign in and requires my password (which I have totally forgotten) and I am unable to find any recovery details at the pop3 website or anywhere else.

Microsoft has been turning off POP access on their accounts. Log in on the MSM site and see if they did that to you. If you have forgotten your email password you have to work that out with your provider.
