I signed up initially for thunderbird 45.2 due to my school not allowing their student email to be redirected, and I rly like the ability to have all my emails in one place. However, at the same time (for unrelated reasons) I've been dodging signing into facebook, but have a wonky 3rd party app to allow access to its messenger feature. I noticed there's pages on this site about how to sign into facebook, but when I go to add the chat account I only see yahoo, twitter, google talk, irc, & XMPP as options. Is there a plug in I'm unaware of?

Some while ago, Facebook made changes to stop third party access - the likes of Thunderbird using this facility hence why it is not in the available list of recent versions.
