I am not able to send to a Group. Thunderbird tells me the address is not recognised.

I have established a number of Groups.

I have an occasional error, when trying to send to a Group and I get an error message that the adress is not recognised. It seems to assume that what I have put in the "To" box is an address and not a Group of addresses. Can you help?

Yesterday Thunderbird was selective, accepting one Group, but not to another.

group names can be a difficulty. punctuation in particular appear to cause difficulties. Have you restricted yourself to only the 26 letters of the alphabet. Without umlaut etc.
