AdFender prevents connection to Gmail IMAP (solution)

Hi, you may want to add this to your knowledge base.

Problem: Mozilla Thunderbird 45.2.0 unable to connect to gmail accounts using IMAP.

Workaround: Disabled Filtering in AdFender Pro 2.26

Solution: In AdFender->Open Main Console->Advanced->Manage exclusion list... Exclude Host popup. Add. www.googleapis.com

Also note that AdFender prevented initial setup of Thunderbird as well. Thunderbird could not connect to the DB.

Hope this saves someone else several hours of troubleshooting.
