Right click the folder, select properties and then repair.

Does that change the count?

What's the account type - POP or IMAP? Should there be any other (read) messages in Inbox?

I believe it's IMAP so it will sync with my other devices. I did find 3 of the emails in a strange spot that were unopened. But there is still one left.

All my other emails are there and I can see them in the columns.
