How do I put Thunderbird back to all its original settings?

Somehow Thunderbird started showing an entire page of sender coding such as X-YMaillSG and Authentication-Results, etc. on Reply and Forward e-mails. When trying to correct this on the complicated Thunderbird Settings screens, I got everything messed up. How do I get my Thunderbird program back to all its original default settings without reinstalling thunderbird? Is it even possible?

Thanks a bunch Airmail. That took away those pages of weird coding. It didn't repair all the other changes I made in settings but your solution helped a lot. Putting things back on HTML put some other things back to normal. Thanks again for your help.
