Have not received e-mails and am told they must be in my junk flle. I do not know how to access this file because I don't know where it is? As you may guess I am not computer savy !!

You may have an account that connects using POP, which would mean that a Spam folder would be found on the server (but not in a mail client such as Thunderbird.)

Go and login to your email in your browser via the provider's web page and look for a Spam or Junk folder there.

Mine appear in the pane at the left where my accounts and their folders are listed.

Do you have such a pane?

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I have such a pane but it only contains Inbox/Drafts/Sent/Archives/Deleted.
