I use and add-on to clear my cookies frequently. Every time firefox displays an annoying notification that the cookies have been deleted. How do I stop this notification.

It is likely the extension you use to clear the cookies that shows this message, so you will have to check its settings in Options/Preferences to see if you can disable this or check the about:config page for hidden preferences to customize the extension. If you can't solve this then contact the developer of the extension for support.
