One year of emails in my Sent folder

Im missing emails for entire 2015 in my Sent folder!

Last email is 12.09.2014 the first one 18.04.2016

I've went trough the steps here ... http://kb.mozillazine.org/Disappearing_mail

... and just upgraded Thunderbird to its last version.

No change.

When I use the Search bar and search for email addresses I often use, the "From Me" shows no emails in 2015. The "To me" box shows several results.

Can you assist? What can I try?

At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button , then select Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Folder > Open Folder

This will open your Thunderbird profile folder in Windows Explorer.

Close Thunderbird.

In Windows Explorer locate the Sent file for your account. It's the one without a file extension, and it contains your sent messages (at least those which still do exist). This is a text file, so you can open it with a text editor.

Check whether your messages are still visible.
